About SSMedia

My name is Tate Clark, and photography started as a hobby for me. Prior to Christmas of 2016, I asked for my first camera and that is what I received. It is the camera I still use to this day. Photography has always been an outlet for me and a source of happiness, especially when there’s not much to do. Originally I frequently used it to film skateboarding with some friends throughout high school, but the more I used it, the more I began to really enjoy photos. Nowadays, it’s most often used for taking photos of my friends, as well as our personal cars or cars we have worked on. I began to get super involved in the car community in the last few years of high school, and currently work as a transmission technician at a local Ford dealership.

I started to photograph under SSMedia as a way to grow upon skills I already have, as well as develop new ones. With my life being so revolved around the automotive industry and all things car related, I’m looking to expand my automotive profile as well as add portrait, and landscape projects to my portfolio. I have played around with image editing although I must admit, I’m still not the best at it. Aside from photography, you can find me either (a) fixing my Focus ST, or (b) out at Bandimere racing it in the Kinsco Friday Night E.T. series. When I can find the time, I also ride my mountain bike along the front range or up in Winter Park, enjoying their bike park: Trestle.

I hope you’ll find at least a few photos that will catch your eye. Being a relatively new photographer I am still improving and learning everyday, but that’s what makes it fun.
